Baby and Mom are doing well.

Labor sure is hard work...

9:15 AM, 8-28-08, Water was broken in hospital.
5:30 PM, 8-28-08, 4cm and waiting. Contractions are spaced 2-3 minutes apart.

40.57 Weeks...

No baby yet, dilated two centimeters and we have an appointment this Thursday at 6A just in case nothing happens on its own in the meantime.

Rocker Delivered Friday

Rocker completes his room.

The rain has stopped for the first time this week and the sun is actually shining! Kelly says she is stir-crazy so we are headed out for some air conditioned walking, a.k.a. shopping.

The cat liked the box.

Friday Update

The doctors appointment went well she is dilated one centimeter, his head down, projected birth weight: 8lbs, next appointment: Tuesday, all other stats are normal and healthy.

One week left...

Friday's doctors appointment showed no signs of labor yet. We are ready and waiting for Baby J.

May I have 504 hours on the clock please.

Here is a quick tour of the baby's room. Most is in place and ready with just three weeks left. I hope he likes boats.

We took a dry run of installing the car seat this weekend.

Tested baby monitors and nanny cam. Set up a second changing table in our room. The still picture and video cameras along with some bags are packed with a short list of things to grab as we head out the door.

Does it seem this is our first child or what?
