We tried Rice Cereal

Life is still not the same here at our house with the passing of Kelly's Dad so we decided why not add to it with giving Graham Rice Cereal and formula this past weekend. Our real hope, is that the little bugger will sleep through the night...meaning more than six hours.


Skeptical from the get-go.

Preparing for Food!

We put together Graham's high chair this weekend and tested it out in preparation for FOOD!

Sitters for Sanity

Graham's Mama Deba came to visit this past weekend and provided relief. She not only charges a lot less than his other babysitters, she then stays all night and I think actually likes getting up with him at the 4 AM feeding! Note the child labor...Graham holds his own bottle.

Granddaddy Wayne

Granddaddy Wayne, Kelly's Dad, passed away suddenly on January 8, 2009 in Jacksonville, FL. We are deeply sadden by his passing. We had a very nice service last Sunday and still very much in the processing phase of grieving.

Unfortunately, pictures do not show character and Wayne had tons. He was a family man to the core and made every sacrifice so his daughters and family never went without.

From Wayne's service lead by his Cousin, Mac McConnell, "If we learn anything from funerals, it is that life is shorter than we think. Although it is appointed a time to die – we seldom are prepared to loose a loved one. You will never regret taking time to love and embrace those you know."

4 months old

Graham is now sleeping in his room...

At his four month doctor visit he weighed 13lb.s, 14 oz. (25th) and was 25 3/4 (80th) long.

Poolside in January, it is a high of 78 today.

Central Park
